Today, breakfast radio hosts in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide united in 5 location for launch of Digital Radio in Australia. At 7:40am, all stations simultaneously broadcasted a 4 minute audio clip to promote digital radio and radio personalities to express their most memorable moment about radio.

More than 40 radio stations around Australia participated in the Radio United outside broadcast.

Favourite Family The Simpsons to be axed

As a Simpsons fan, I was disappointed that I heard The Simpsons will be axed on Chanel 10 and replaced with an extended 30 minutes of the news.

Simpsons cost $25000 per episode to broadcast, so the decision will save 10 about $6 million per year.

At least if they do axe the 6pm timeslot, they will continue to broadcast the continuing episodes and the 21, and 22 seasons that are to come.
